Yes. Servers, channels, voice chat, and direct messaging are free for everyone without paywalls or subscriptions.
Do I need to install anything?
No — BlobChat runs fully in modern web browsers. If you want a desktop window, notifications, and call overlays, download the Windows or Android app.
Do I need an email or phone number?
No. All you need is a username and password. Friends find you by your username, while your customizable display name is shown in chat.
How many people can join a call?
Direct group calls support up to 8 people. On servers, voice channels are open to all members.
Can I log out from other devices?
Yes: Settings → "Devices" displays all active sessions. Terminate any individual session or log out everywhere with one click.
